{Sally & John Pearson} 29 December 2017 { St. Martin’s Church, Bowness & Storrs Hall, Windermere}

Sally & John’s Wedding was a winter wonderland! Many people dream of having snow on their wedding day but for them it landed!

I have started their blog post with a few photos from the Pre Wedding shoot we did in the Autumn before the wedding.

It’s lovely to have a mix of seasons in your photographs.

After an eventful journey getting to Storrs Hall in Windermere with snow falling, abandoned vehicles and blocked roads we finally arrived made it (in my husbands Land Rover) to join Sally & her bridesmaids getting ready.

There isĀ something quiet peaceful about snowing falling outside. It was lovely to capture the little details as the girls finished getting their hair and make up done.

Sally looked incredible!

After getting a lift on the bus we arrived at the snow covered church. It looked magical.

It was lovely to capture guests making their way inside, battling the snow.

John waited patiently inside for the arrival of the bridal party.

Both the band and Sally’s sister singing during the service sounded amazing and was a lovely personal touch.

The ceremony was lovely- music, readings and exchanging vows.

Officially Mr & Mrs Pearson!

When we arrived back at Storrs Hall we made our way down to the Jetty for someĀ  extra special photographs in the snow.

Inside the reception the rooms were decorated with seasonal flowers and decorations.

Time for the speeches!

After the meal while guests were relaxing by the fire I asked Sally & John to go up onto the balcony so we could create this photograph.

Before the music began for the evening we took some photographs outside with sparklers – a perfect way to start the evening!

It was soon time to take to the dancefloor!

First dance as Husband and Wife!

I knew when it was time for me to head home that the dance floor would be full all night long!

Thank you again to Sally & John for choosing me to capture your wedding. It really was a pleasure and certainly not a wedding I will forget any time soon. It was amazing!
