{Rebecca & Scott Watkinson} Seathwaite Church & Turner Hall {2 September 2017}

The Duddon Valley is one of the most beautiful places to host a wedding. Rebecca & Scott’s Wedding had the changing colours of autumn but the sunshine of summer.

I joined Rebecca as she got ready with her bridesmaids in the heart of the valley.

There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere while the girls got ready.

With the sun shining we took some photographs outside before setting off to the church.

When I arrived at the church Scott and his ushers were welcome guests but it wasn’t long before Rebecca’s arrival.

I think we had the maximum numbers inside the church for the ceremony yet it still felt intimate and personal.

Officially Mr & Mrs Watkinson!

The combination of the lovely pathway leading from the church and the excellent confeffi throwers (including a confetti bomb) it made the perfect photograph.

The marquee reception looked amazing with lots of handmade details. I especially loved the idea of the homemade vodka on each table.

Whichever way you looked the backdrop for photographs was perfect. Even the dogs enjoyed the group shots!

We headed up to Birks Bridge for some photographs. We were so lucky to have it all to ourselves.

Back to the reception and it was time for food & speeches.

After the meal we made the most of the setting sun for some extra photographs.

Time to welcome the evening guests, cut the cake (before the dog eats it) and start the party!

If you thought the marquee looked amazing in the day – wait till you see it at night!

And it wasn’t long until everyone joined them on the dance floor!

What a brilliant day! The venue, the location, the people… the dogs! Thank you Rebecca & Scott for allowing me to share and capture your day.
