{Lisa & Stephen Benn} 1 September 2017 {Wild Boar Inn, Crook & Fell Foot Park Wood}

September weddings – filled with the colour of autumn and the heat of the summer sun. Perfect!

I joined Lisa and her bridesmaids (and twin boys) as they got ready at the Wild Boar in Crook, Windermere.

There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere as everyone got ready.

The star’s of the show had to be Lisa & Stephen’s boys – they were just adorable.

As the final preparations took place it was soon time for Lisa to walk down the aisle to meet Stephen.

The fire was roaring and with just a small number of guests the ceremony was lovely and intimate.

Officially Mr & Mrs Benn!

We headed off up to the tarn and into the woods in the Land Rover for some photographs.

Guests sat out in the sunshine enjoying drinks and canapés.

Inside the room was decorated in a rustic theme with fresh herbs, wooden centrepieces and handmade decorations.

Time for the speeches!

Lisa & Stephen held their evening reception at Fell Foot Wood. Hidden off the main road in the middle of the wood they had decorated the barn and had live music to welcome guests.

The whole day had a relaxed feel and as guests arrived they sat outside enjoying the last of the summer sun around the fire pits.

We just had to take some extra photographs in the woodland it was beautiful.

I loved Lisa & Stephen’s polaroid guestbook idea!

Time to take to the dance floor. What a lovely setting for your first dance.

Leaving the party I could tell the dance floor wasn’t going to be empty the rest of the night.

It really was a pleasure to be apart of Lisa & Stephen’s Wedding and also shoot at a new venue, the barn was perfect!
