{Mr & Mrs Collett} 27 May 2017 {Bardsea Church & Ford Park Ulverston}

I first met Adam & Amy at their Pre Wedding Shoot in the Autumn before they got married. The colours were a stunning mix of orange green and brown, there was snow on the mountain tops but the sun still had a little warmth to it. It was a perfect day. We walking along the shore, played in the leaves, hid in trees and kept warm in blankets. It was a photographers dream!

The 27th May soon came around and I met Amy and her family while they were getting ready in a beautiful town house in Ulverston.

I captured all the little details while everyone got ready.

This was the first wedding I had photographed at Bardsea Church – and what a beautiful church it is!

Guests arrived on a vintage coach making there way to meet Adam outside the church.

The sun was shining as Adam & Amy made their way out of church as Mr & Mrs Collett.

Congratulations and celebrations all round!

Before making our way straight to the reception we stopped off for a few photographs.

I had spotted a sea of yellow flowers in a field just off the road and we just had to sneak in and take a few shots.

and of course stop at Roy’s for an ice cream!

Guests welcomed the arrival of Adam and Amy at Ford Park in Ulverston.

We took some family photographs in the gardens while guests enjoyed drinks and entertainment.

Inside the function room looked amazing with so many little details.

As soon as the guests had sat down the heavens opened! A huge thunderstorm came over and the Hoad monument disappeared.

That didn’t matter inside though… Josh Hindle (Wedding Singer and Entertainer) had all the guests signing, dancing and throwing napkins in the air!

Quick rain check – we are okay! Everyone back out!

With the storm now passed we took the opportunity to do the speeches outside.

While evening guests arrived and we waited for the music to begin we took a few extra photographs in the gardens.

First dance time!

When I look back on Adam & Amy’s Wedding not only do I remember it for the huge thunderstorm, but a wedding which was filled with laughter and fun. Adam & Amy it was a pleasure to capture your day and I hope when you look back on your photographs they bring back lots of happy memories.
