{Mr & Mrs Maw} Fairway Hotel, Barrow-In-Furness {29 April 2017}

Emma & Chris got married at the end of spring at the Fairway Hotel in Barrow In Furness. The day was filled with love, happiness and little surprises. It was a pleasure to photograph and I’m super excited to share their special day with you all.

I joined Emma and her bridesmaids as they got ready in her family home. There was a lovely calm and relaxed atmosphere as the girls all got ready.

Emma had put so much thought into all the little details of the day. The girls looked fabulous in their bridesmaid dresses which were all different but tied in together perfectly.

All ready to go and arrive in style in a VW campervan.

Chris and his groomsmen waited patiently at the venue to greet guests. With the sound of bagpipes it created a wonderful atmosphere.

The wedding ceremony is always a beautiful part of the day. Usually when people are most nervous but also the most special, intimate and important part. I love being able to capture all this love and emotion.

Chris and Emma had organised for the rings to be delivered by Owl. It was a surprise for all their guests and such a lovely idea.

Officially Mr & Mrs Maw!

We took some family photographs in the grounds before heading off to Roan Head beach in the campervan!

The beach was so peaceful and quiet. With views over the estuary it was the perfect setting for some couple portraits.

Back at the reception the room was decorated and set up ready for the Wedding breakfast. I was blown away by the transformation. It looked incredible.

Emma & Chris had chosen a chocolate afternoon tea party for their celebrations. They had crockery from relatives that they used which was such a lovely personal touch.

Time for the speeches and the perfect opportunity for me to capture all the reactions and emotions.

These two literally smiled and laughed all day 🙂

With a quick opportunity to take a few more photographs before the evening begun. We went outside into the grounds for some extra couple photos. The giant balloons made a great prop.

Emma & Chris has organised for a Cèilidh for the evening celebrations. It was such a good idea and got everyone up on the dance floor.

I really enjoyed capturing everyone dancing and even had to step in to dance myself at one point!

Emma & Chris’s day was so much fun! The thought that had gone into the day and the genuine happiness and love shone through. Thank you for allowing me to share and capture your day. I hope you enjoy looking back on your photographs for many years to come and are reminded what a brilliant day everyone shared.

Also a huge thank you to Kate Jackson for second shooting.
