{Mr & Mrs Day} Broadoaks Country House Hotel, Windermere {8 March 2017}

Kirsty & James’s Wedding Day felt like the first day of Spring. The sun was shining and the flowers were appearing. Broadoaks was the perfect setting for their Wedding day┬ácelebrations.

I joined Kirsty and her bridesmaids getting ready in a beautiful lodge set within the grounds.

I captured all the little details as the girls got ready. Cody, Kirsty & James’s dog was the star of the show and even had an outfit čÖé ┬á

Kirsty was so relaxed all morning. The girls had a lovely time putting the finishing touches together.

In the beautiful conservatory it was soon time for Kirsty to walk hand in hand with her Dad down the aisle to meet James.

They shared their vows with lots of laughter. There was a lovely atmosphere, informal, personal and relaxed.

This is one of my favourite photographs from the day, just pure happiness.

With a 3pm ceremony Kirsty & James walked back down the aisle and into the grounds with the afternoon sunshine.

They were greeted by a bagpiper which was a lovely surprise from family.

It was lovely capturing guests as they congratulated the new Mr & Mrs Day , so many happy faces!

We captured some family photographs in front of the fountain before taking James & Kirsty off for some photographs together.

The afternoon sunlight was perfect filtering through the trees čÖé

Making the most of the sunshine before the wedding breakfast begun guests enjoyed socialising outside.

Inside, I captured the lovely little details and decorations. It looked beautiful.

Time for the speeches and a perfect opportunity for me to capture some natural photographs.

After we heard some past stories and memories from James’s groomsmen they produced with a card with a special little message inside… ┬á

Some of their wedding guests had organised for James & Kirsty to go on honeymoon to Paris! What a lovely surprise.

Once the evening guests had arrived it was time for live music, cake cutting and dancing!

It was a pleasure to share and capture Kirsty & James’s Wedding Day. Such a lovely, fun group of people and some lovely surprises for the couple too.

Enjoy looking through your photographs and I hope they bring back lots of happy memories.
