Debra & Ben Falvey {9 July 2016} Chequers Hotel, Dalton In Furness

As I arrived at Debra’s family home the trees were blowing and the rain was pouring. However it didn’t dampen the day and Debra and her bridesmaids had a lovely morning getting ready.

I started to capture all the special details as the girls had their hair and make up done.

Chloe, Debra & Ben’s daughter was an absolute star! She loved helping all the girls get ready.

It was soon time for me to meet Ben and all the guests at Chequers Hotel where the ceremony and reception took place.

Everyone had a smile on their face and waited patiently for the bridal party to arrive.

I say this a lot but I think it’s important. I love being able to capture a bride walking down the aisle hand in hand with her dad.

It’s such a special moment with a mix of excitement, nerves and happiness.

I also love capturing little moments like this 🙂

Look at the happiness and smiles as Debra & Ben exchange their vows.

Officially Mr & Mrs Falvey! Chloe was the first to come and congratulate her Mum & Dad.

Followed by all their friends and family!

With a break in the rain we went outside to capture some family photographs.

…but the weather man didn’t allow!

This is what happens when your mid group shot and the heavens open!

After some photographs inside, Debra & Ben braved the rain for some photographs down at Furness Abbey.

The umbrella made a great prop!

Despite the weather we managed to get some lovely photographs of the new Mr & Mrs Falvey.

When we returned to Chequers I captured the beautifully dressed room before the speeches began.

Debra’s Dad, Ben & his Best Man all made speeches. They were filled with thanks, memories and stories.

It’s lovely to capture the reactions and emotions.

After the speeches had ended I left Debra & Ben to share their first meal surrounded by their family & friends…and not forgetting the evening celebrations later that night!

It was a pleasure to capture Debra & Ben’s day. I hope they are able to look back at their photographs and bring back lots of happy memories.
