{Julie & Simon Mickle} 18 June 2016 {Chequers, Dalton In Furness}

As the end of summer approaches and autumn begins it’s nice to look back on one of my mid summer weddings at Chequers Hotel in Dalton-In-Furness.

Simon & Julie had a beautiful sunny day for their wedding celebrations in June.

I joined Julie getting ready at the family home on the morning of the wedding. As soon as I walked through the door everyone made me feel welcome and there was a lovely calm and relaxed atmosphere.

Julie looked beautiful as she came down the stairs where all her family waited to see her.

The flowers looked stunning and complimented the bridesmaid dresses perfectly.

Julie was ready with time to spare so we enjoyed some family photographs in the garden before setting off.

When I arrived at Chequers, guests had began to arrive and Simon enjoyed a quick Gin and Tonic in the sun before waiting inside for the arrival of the bridal party.

Bailey (Julie & Simon’s Son) also waited patiently for the arrival of his Mum 🙂

Here come the girls!

The colours of the dresses were lovely and all the girls looked fabulous.

I love capturing the bride walking down the aisle with her Dad.

It’s such a special moment in life and lovely to look back on.

The ceremony was full of smiles, laughter and even a few tears.

Shared with all their family and friends Simon & Julie became Mr & Mrs Mickle.

As soon as it was official, guests came to welcome the happy couple.

and of course confetti was at the ready!

A special congratulations and hug from daughter to father 🙂

After some family photographs in the gardens we went to Furness Abbey for some extra special pictures.

Once we returned to Chequers it was time for the guests to be seated and the speeches to begin!

The room was decorated beautifully.

I love taking the opportunity to capture natural photographs of guests during the speeches.

With some time before the night do began the kids enjoyed playing in the grounds and a magician performed to guests.

With the evening guests arrived it was time to start the party!

Julie & Simon took to the dance floor for their first dance.

I had a brilliant day capturing Julie & Simon’s Wedding Day. There was so much love and laughter and it was lovely to see all their guests share that with them.

Thanks to you all for making me feel part of your day.

I hope you enjoy looking through your photographs for many years to come and they bring back lots of special memories of a great day.
