{Emily & Elliott Miller} 10 June 2016 {The Swan Hotel, Newby Bridge}

Emily & Elliott chose the beautiful Swan Hotel at Newby Bridge to get married and celebrate with their family and friends.

With a little shower of rain in the morning we enjoyed  sun for the rest of the day.

I joined Emily, her bridesmaids and mother in law getting ready. I could instantly tell how much thought had gone into the day and Emily’s sister Beth had organised lots of special details for Emily to enjoy.

Emily had her Mum’s engagement ring tied securely onto her bouquet, it was such a lovely idea.

The girls had a great view from their window and the perfect place to watch the boys arrive!

The morning had a relaxed feel and it was soon time for all the finishing touches.

Emily’s dress had hung beautifully in the window while the girls got ready, but once she put it on it looked even more perfect!

Scented with Jo Malone the ceremony room looked  & smelt amazing!

A slightly nervous Elliott welcomed guests and waited patiently for the arrival of his bride.

Walking hand in hand with her sister, Emily made her way down the aisle to meet Elliott.

Of course, there was one important job to do before anything else…. combing Emily’s fringe 🙂

The ceremony was lovely, with lots of laughter and smiles!

Officially Mr & Mrs Miller!

Guests enjoyed drinks and canopies outside by the river.

The setting was lovely and a swan even swam past at the perfect moment!

We took some family and group photographs while guests enjoyed catching up and enjoying the sun.

I especially like the photo with all the children.

Elliot’s expression is priceless!

As much as I love the finished photograph, sometimes the journey to creating it is much funnier to capture.

We took the opportunity to go up to Gummer’s How for some photographs.

The wood made a lovely backdrop.

We returned back to the Swan and I captured the room and all the little details.

Emily’s friends Gemma & Jenna had organised a sweetie table for all the guests. It was amazing!

While the rest of the guests were being seating Emily and Elliott had a quick moment to themselves.

This is one of my favourite photographs from their day 🙂

We began with speeches from Elliott, his best man Chris and then Emily’s Uncle.

It was lovely to hear stories and capture the laughter and tears.

After the meal guests went back outside to enjoy the evening sun. It was the perfect time for me to capture some natural photos.

I think the kids were excited about the cake cutting!

The Swan makes such a lovely backdrop so some photographs on the bridge was a must!

Perfect timing as the evening guests arrived!

After finding a field with long grass it was a must for some last couple photographs before the evening began.

The evening started with the first dance and it wasn’t long before all their guests enjoyed them on the dance floor.

Look how happy they look!

As I left Emily & Elliott’s day with a full dance floor I knew they were in for a great night!

It was a pleasure to capture and share their day. We were able to capture so many lovely photographs with a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Congratulations again Mr & Mrs Miller.
