{Amy & Andrew Woodburn} 4 June 2016 {Seascale Church & Irton Hall}

Amy & Andrew got married in their home town of Seascale on one of the hottest days of the year so far. It was the perfect day with their reception held at Irton Hall.

There were lots of handmade details, doves, lawn games and a trip to Wasdale for photographs. It was an absolute pleasure to capture and share their day.

I joined Amy, her sisters and Mum while they got ready on the morning of the wedding.

The sun was already shining through the bay window with a fantastic view over their Reception.

I captured all the little details while the girls were getting ready.

There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere with lots of laughs and champagne!

Amy’s dress hung beautifully on the wardrobe but it looked even more amazing when she put it on.

Stephen, Amy’s Dad waited patiently outside while the girls finished getting ready.

It was lovely to capture the moment he saw Amy before setting off to the church.

It was nice to see so many handmade details. The church looked beautiful as guests arrived and were seated.

Amy arrived with her Grandad by her side in his own car.

Andrew waited patiently at the top of the aisle while Amy shared her last few moments as Amy Leece with her Dad.

I love capturing the brides entrance. It’s such a precious part of the day and lovely to look back on.

Officially Mr & Mrs Woodburn… they walked down the aisle hand in hand.

As guests congratulated the happy couple we then lined up for a confetti shot

Champagne awaited them outside the church.

It was such a great moment to capture the cork flying into the crowd!

We decided to go to Wasdale for some photographs while guests made their way to Irton Hall.

Even the journey was amazing!

The backdrop of the water and mountains was phenomenal and the perfect setting for photographs.

On the way back to the Reception I pulled over on the single track road by this bright yellow field. It was too good to miss.

As we stopped traffic and crept into the field for a few photographs I knew it was worth it.

We made our way back to Irton Hall where guests and drinks awaited our arrival.

I took the opportunity to capture the decorated marquee and details.

Andrew’s sister had organised for doves to be let off. Everyone gathered round to see them and fly back home together.

With the sun shining down we went under the big tree for some shade to capture the family photographs.

The hay bails made a great place to sit too!

Time for the speeches, a perfect opportunity for me to capture all the guests as stories, memories and laughs were shared.

As the sun got lower in the sky it was soon time for the evening entertainment to begin.

It was lovely to capture guests relaxing outside, catching up and playing games.

I took Amy & Andrew for a few extra photographs in the summer evening light.

Amy & Andrew took to the dance floor for their first dance.

Soon to be followed by their family & friends!

It was set to be a fun evening, I’m sure the dance floor wasn’t left empty as the Holborn Hillbilles entertained the crowd.

It was a real pleasure to capture and share Amy & Andrew’s Wedding Day.

Everyone made me feel so welcome and the atmosphere throughout the day was amazing.

I hope your photographs bring back lots of happy memories from your perfect day!
