{Helen & Daniel Waters} 31 May 2016 {Broadoaks Country House Hotel, Windermere}

Helen & Daniel got married on a beautiful sunny Tuesday at the end of May. They chose Broadoaks Country House Hotel in Troutbeck, Windermere for their celebrations.

The theme was sunflowers which looked lovely and bright. They had an outdoor ceremony in the late afternoon sunshine and shared their day with close family and friends.

It was a pleasure to be part of their day and capture lots of happy moments.

I joined Helen as she was getting ready with her Daughter, Mum and close friends.

It was such a relaxing afternoon. Effie was full of smiles and was as good as gold while the girls caught up and got themselves ready.

I think this photograph below needs a caption!

Effie was using one of the paper leaflets as a phone. I think it went something like this….. “Dad, your going to need your tissues, Mum looks beautiful… Wait till you see her”!

I captured all the little details throughout the afternoon. It was soon time for Helen to put on her dress.

Helen & Daniel decided to do a first look. I was so excited by this idea as it’s a lovely moment to share as a couple.

Daniel waited patiently on the front lawn for the arrival of Helen.

They got to see each other and share the moment together before their ceremony.

Of course, little Effie had to be included for a photograph too ūüôā¬†

What a beautiful setting… and look at the bright blue sky!

Guests congregated and waited for the arrival of the bridal party.

It’s lovely being able to photograph the ceremony. It’s such a special moment and often the part of the day that the bride and groom are most nervous.

To have these photographs to then look back on is a real bonus.

Now …all ceremony’s are special, but Helen’s Mum was able to conduct the service and marry her Daughter and New Son In Law!

Officially Mr & Mrs Waters!

With a bright yellow bush in full bloom in front of their Reception it was the perfect opportunity to have a photograph.

As guests congratulated Helen & Daniel, it was the perfect time for me to capture some natural shots before the family groups.

With the late afternoon sun shining down through the trees it made a perfect setting for Helen & Daniel’s couple photos.

Just look at that light!

The conservatory was decorated beautifully with lots of handmade touches.

The yellow details made the room glow.

I loved Helen & Daniel’s favour idea!

Time for the speeches!

Helen & Daniel did a joint speech, with their daughter Effie by their side.

Helen’s father and Daniel’s Bestman then said a few words.

We took the opportunity to go back outside for some photographs while the room was being prepared for the evening.

A duke box was set up so that guests could choose a song they would like to dance too! What a great idea.

Helen & Daniel took to the dance floor for their first dance.

It was a pleasure to capture and share Helen & Daniel’s intimate wedding. I love this last photograph, it really sums up their day.
