{Jackson & Joely Kelly} The Wild Boar Inn, Windermere {27 May 2016}

I’ll never forget meeting up with Jackson & Joely a month before their wedding… we walked through the grounds of their Wedding reception in snow!

It was hard to imagine their summer wedding at the time but Friday 27th May was a hot summers day.

Bluebells carpeted the woodland, the tarn was flat calm and it was the perfect setting for Jackson & Joely to become Mr & Mrs Kelly.

Joely got ready surrounded by her bridesmaids and family.

Even Ivy their dog was present throughout the whole day.

I checked in with the boys who were nearly all ready.

There was such a calm and relaxed atmosphere and it was lovely to have everyone getting ready together at the venue.

Back to the girls and they were putting the finishing touches together.

It was soon time for Joely to put her beautiful wedding dress on.

I love capturing the bride with her dad, it’s such a special time to share together before walking down the aisle.

Having a little rest before the big day ahead!

Downstairs Jackson waited patiently for the arrival of his bride.

The room was decorated with wild flowers and wood which gave a lovely rustic feel.

Look at the smiles on their faces!

Jackson & Joely exchanged their vows with Ivy standing by watching!

Officially Mr & Mrs Kelly!

With champagne in hand, guests congratulated the happy couple.

We got a great confetti shot and group photograph in front of the main entrance.

We made use of the stunning grounds behind the hotel for the smaller family group shots.

The Wild Boar even have their own Land Rover which can be used to get up to the Tarn.

We took advantage of this and got some great couple photographs.

The bluebells were in full bloom and made a lovely backdrop in the woods.

Back at the reception, live music was playing, the children were having fun outside and guests enjoyed celebrating in the sun.

Before everyone sat down for their meal I took some photographs of the room and decorations.

Time for the speeches!

I love capturing all the emotions and reactions!

We heard Joely’s Dad, Jackson, His Brother & Bestman and Joely’s Best Friend all say a few words to mark the special occasion.

With a little bit of time before the evening entertainment began we went back outside to capture some photographs with Ivy!

I love the combination above, it really sums up Jackson & Joely’s Wedding Day 🙂

Practicing for the dance floor!

Time to take to the dance floor for the first dance!

Soon welcomed by all their guests! It was lovely to capture so many happy faces.

As I left Jackson & Joely’s Wedding I knew they would be in for a brilliant evening!

It was a pleasure to capture their day and lovely to see Ivy their dog be part of the day too.

I hope your photographs bring back lots of happy memories.
