{Mr & Mrs Price} Belmount Hall, Hawkshead {26 March 2016}

My first wedding of 2016 was at the beautiful Belmount Hall in Hawkshead. It was a classic Lake District day with the rain splashing against the window and the wind blowing, however it wasn’t going to dampen Rosey & Darren’s special day.

I met with Rosey as she was getting ready with her bridesmaids and Mum. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed and there was something very cosy about watching the weather outside while the morning preparations took place.

I began capturing all the little details while Rosey had her hair and make up done.

One of my favourite photographs from the morning… sharing a glass of champagne with Mum.

Across the corridor I joined Darren while he and his ushers got themselves ready too.

It was such a lovely moment to capture Rosey’s Dad seeing her for the first time.

With all the guests ready it was time to become Mr & Mrs Price!

I took the opportunity to capture some natural photographs while all the guests congratulated Rosey & Darren.

Darren had organised for a car to pick them both up as a surprise.

It was a lovely idea and meant that we were able to go down to Esthwaite Water for some photographs. Even in the rain!

We even found a lovely cobbled shelter on our travels!

When we arrived back we were welcomed by ushers with umbrellas!

Back inside we started with some family photographs.

Guests enjoyed drinks and canapés. The fires were lit and music was playing.

The breakfast room looked beautiful all decorated.

Kate from Made in Flowers did a fantastic job!

As guests enjoyed socialising with friends and family over food it was soon time for the speeches!

Rosey’s Dad began with tales of childhood memories and love and support for the new Mr & Mrs Price.

It was lovely to capture all the emotions and reactions!

After speeches from Darren and his Best Man it was time for the evening entertainment to begin!

The room was lit with candles and the dance floor was ready!

Rosey & Darren took the floor for their first dance before being joined by their family and friends.

It was great to see so many happy faces and everyone having a great time.

It was a pleasure to share and capture Rosey & Darren’s Wedding Day.

I want to say a big thank you to them both for braving the rain too!

It was such a cosy and intimate atmosphere and I hope your photographs bring back lots of happy memories from your day.
