{Danielle & Craig Bowd} Ulverston Parish Church & Storrs Hall {6 November 2015}

Danielle & Craig got married on a winters day in November. Although the rain joined them it definitely didn’t dampen the day!

They got married in the Parish Church in Ulverston then onto Storrs Hall in Windermere. The setting was beautiful and it was so cosy with everyone socialising around the open fires.

I joined Danielle and her bridesmaids getting ready at her family home in the morning. There was a lovely atmosphere as soon as I walked in as the girls were getting ready and putting the final touches in place.

Danielle wore her Mum’s Wedding dress which she had got specially altered.

It was so unquie and personal – such a lovely idea.

With a vintage theme it was lovely to see everything coming together and photographing all the details.

It was soon time for Danielle to get into her dress. None of the bridesmaids had seen it so it was a great moment to capture!

Even with a bit of drizzle the church looked beautiful! The trees even had their autumn colours too.

When I arrived at the church the boys were waiting patiently greeting guests. The girls were only a little bit late and made them sweat 🙂

I do think that a bit of rain adds some fun! I love this photo of the girls arriving at the church.

Closely followed by Danielle and her Dad.

The moment Craig had been waiting for 🙂

The service was lovely and intimate & Danielle and Craig’s friends did the readings.

Having a little moment together 🙂

Saying your vows is such a special moment and it’s such a lovely time to capture.

The day goes so quickly and this part especially is so nice to look back on.

As they walked through an arch of umbrellas Danielle and Craig set off to their Wedding Reception as Mr & Mrs Bowd.

Rain won’t stop the confetti!

The guests decided to throw it as the car left the church instead – great idea!

Storrs Hall looked beautiful, especially with Danielle & Crag’s decorations.

Everyone enjoyed welcome drinks, canapés and a live singer as they arrived.

We used the inside rooms to take some family, friends and couple photographs.

I love this photograph below, it’s a great summary.

Time for the speeches!

What a good laugh, there wasn’t a person in the room without a smile on their face.

It was a perfect opportunity to capture lots of natural photographs

As Danielle & Craig cut the cake it was time to begin the evening entertainment!

Shots for the girls! 🙂

Then the dancing began 🙂 It was great to see a full dance floor.

Time for the first dance, surrounded by their family & friends.

As the music got livelier I captured all the moves 🙂

It was a pleasure to capture Danielle & Craig’s day. It felt so intimate and cosy!

I hope you enjoy looking back through your photographs for many years to come and they bring back lots of happy memories from your day.
