{Steph & Lewis Walker} 15 August 2015 {Park House Barn & Papakata Tipi}

It’s lovely when you get a booking through a recommendation. Not only is it the best form of advertising but you usually get clients who book you for your style.

From meeting up with Steph & Lewis when they initially booked right through to after their wedding day we built up a great relationship and it was an absolute pleasure to be part of it.

From hearing all the plans and details beforehand I was praying that Steph and Lewis got the weather they deserved. I met up with Steph on the morning of the Wedding while she was getting ready with her bridesmaids.  There was a lovely buzz and atmosphere, and it sounded like they had had a brilliant sleepover the night before!

Steph had spent a lot of time before the Wedding planning all the details and even made her own bouquet!

I love this photo! Maisie was brilliant all morning but with her Mum Jo being a hairdresser I think she was bored with all the pampering!

Steph’s dress was amazing and the light picked up all the detail perfectly.

Doesn’t she look amazing!

Once the girls were ready it was time to make our way to the ceremony at Park House Barn in Heversham.

What a view and perfect setting for a summer wedding!

The barn looked amazing. Chandelier lighting with vintage props and fairy lights!

A few last minute tweaks and Lewis was ready!

Steph arrived and the time had come to walk hand in hand down the aisle with her Dad.

Just look at those smiles as Steph and Lewis met at the top of the aisle!

Time to toast to the new Mr & Mrs Walker!

It was lovely capturing everyone’s happy faces as guests congratulated the happy couple.

With the weather behaving some guests enjoyed sitting outside too!

Time to walk over to the stunning reception!

Steph and Lewis chose a PapaKata Tipi to hold their wedding breakfast. The tipi stood proud on the top of the hill and looked down onto the estuary.

Inside was decorated with rustic and handmade center pieces, cakes and photo booth props for later!

The backdrop for group and family photographs was perfect.

and not forgetting the little moments like this in between the group photos 🙂

Steph and Lewis had organised bell tents for guests to stay in. It was a brilliant idea!

They even had a very special one for themselves and we had to include it in the photos.

There was a lovely relaxed feel to the day. Guests enjoyed socialising outside before a hog roast dinner!

Inside the tipi was just as beautiful as the outside. It was so cosy!

Time for the speeches to begin!

and what a great laugh guests had listening to them. Every angle I looked I could see laughing faces!

With a little bit of time before the evening guests arrived we enjoyed the last of the summer sun and took some more photographs.

The girls had so much fun all day!

I took Steph and Lewis for a little walk to capture some photographs together.

We found a lovely field with long grass which was the perfect setting.

A favorite from their day…

Back to the party! A what a night it was going to be 🙂

The photo booth props went down a treat!

No one was camera shy now!

Inside the tipi the fires were lit and the lighting looked amazing. It gave a lovely cosy feel.

It was time for the music to begin!

Shed Sessions and James Tyson provided the entertainment and Steph and Lewis took to the dance floor for their first dance.

I enjoy every wedding I photograph and they are all different, but Steph & Lewis totally know how to plan a cracking day!

The setting was simply stunning and everyone looked like they had the best day ever, not just the bride and groom.

What a laugh and so many memories made.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your special day.
