{Gemma & Ryan Mower} Sella Park Hotel, Seascale {18 July 2015}

Gemma & Ryan got married in the middle of summer at Sella Park Hotel in Seascale. The day began with beautiful sunshine filtering through the windows as I met Gemma, her bridesmaids, daughters and Mum getting ready. There was such a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Gemma looked beautiful as she had her hair and make up done.

The dress hung pride of place in a separate bedroom and was going to be a surprise to all her bridesmaids!

Gemma & Ryan’s two girls were as good as gold all morning and loved joining in with all the pampering!

They were super excited to put on their special flowergirl dresses too.

No wedding morning would be complete without some bubbles!

It was soon time for Gemma to put her dress on. As lovely as it looked hanging up, it was even more gorgeous when Gemma stepped into it.

While Gemma was putting the finishing touches in place, Ryan arrived.

The girls couldn’t resist a cheeky look out the window to spot him!

It was lovely to be able to capture the moment Gemma’s Dad saw her.

The British summer allowed Gemma & Ryan to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Doesn’t the setting look lovely!

Ryan, waited patiently for the arrival of the bridal party.

Huge smiles as Gemma met Ryan at the top of the aisle and ready to say their vows.

Surrounded by proud spectators Gemma & Ryan officially became Mr & Mrs Mower.

As they walked down the aisle hand in hand, guests congratulated the happy couple. This little man was the first!

Live music began outside as drinks were served and photos began. It was a lovely touch and gave a great atmosphere.

Usually my favourite photographs when I’m capturing the family portraits are these moments just before everyone is ready.

These are the special ones to cherish 🙂

As the photographs were taking place the kids took full advantage of the lovely open grounds.  They had so much fun!

We took the opportunity to take a walk around the grounds and get some family photos while guests enjoyed the music!

I love this one of Gemma & Ryan, huge smiles on their faces as I capture the first photographs as Husband and Wife.

Before the meal I took the opportunity to capture some of the details inside the marque reception.

The purple and orange colours worked really well together and made the marque look lovely and bright.

It was great to see all the little details Gemma & Ryan had organised too.

Time for the speeches!

Gemma’s Dad, Ryan and his best man took to the stage!

It was great to capture the laughter and happy faces of all the guests.

As we waited for the band to set up for the evening entertainment, the kids…. (and some of the big kids) played outside.

The girls were the first ones on the dance floor and even put on a short performance for everyone 🙂

It was then time for Gemma & Ryan to take to the dance floor for their first dance.

Followed shortly by their guests!

This is the perfect photo to finish on – a full dance floor and the night just beginning!

It was a pleasure to be able to capture Gemma & Ryan’s Wedding Day. What stood out for me was how happy everyone was when I looked around, the kids especially were in their element and  loved the venue.

Thank you again!
