{Jessie & Steven Cummings} Whicham Church & The Brewery Kirksanton {11 July 2015}

Jessie & Steven got married with all their friends and family surrounding them at Whicham Church in July. They decided to have their reception at the family home in Kirksanton, with a marque in the garden. The setting was beautiful and Black Combe made a lovely backdrop for their photographs.

I joined Jessie with her bridesmaids and family getting ready. Everything was organised and there was a lovely calm atmosphere.

As I photographed the dresses hanging up I instantly loved the quirkiness and unique style.

The flowers were beautiful and gave a vintage and country garden feel.

Having known Jessie from school I knew how important music was to her and her family. I therefore wanted to reflect this in their photographs.

As the morning passed us by and preparations were nearly finished Jessie looked beautiful.

There was even time for a cooked brunch for everyone!

Another important part of the wedding not to be missed were the dogs! They made sure they gave Jessie some good luck kisses before leaving!

Time for Jessie to put her dress on and add those last few details.

The colours, dress and headpiece that Jessie wore looked stunning and suited Jessie perfectly.

I loved being able to capture Jessie walking in to see everyone and their reactions!

The sun was shining and guests began to arrive at the church where they were greeted by Steven and his Best Man Chris.

It wasn’t long before the girls started to arrive too. They all looked beautiful.

Arriving in style! The church grounds gave a lovely filtered light through the trees as Jessie and Michael walked towards the church.

One last photo before walking down the aisle girls 🙂

I love this moment… Jessie & Michael walked hand in hand as Jessie’s bridesmaids looked on with proud faces.

Waiting patiently at the top of the aisle for their arrival.

The moment Jessie saw Steven and a proud Michael by her side.

A ceremony filled with love, laughter, singing and pure happiness. It was a pleasure to capture.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Cummings!

As their guests congratulated the happy couple I was able to capture this photo of the church, I love the atmosphere and buzz it shows.

Oh I do love a good confetti shot!

As guests made the short distance to the reception, I went ahead to capture some of the details.

Jessie & Steven had put so much thought and time into the planning and it all came together perfectly.

Pimms for arrival & a wonderful buffet – the food was amazing!

The setting was perfect and the views surrounding the marque made a brilliant background for some family photographs.

We even managed to get into the old barn!

After a wonderful meal, it was time for the speeches!

I loved capturing all the reactions and emotions as Michael, Steven and Chris made their speeches.

Say hello to their star guest!!!

Any wedding that includes a donkey is a winner for me! 🙂

As the clouds started to come over we took the opportunity to go into the field for some photographs of the new Mr & Mrs Cummings.

I love this collection of pictures. Jessie & Steven look so happy, and the long grass made a lovely setting.

Jessie’s long vail blew in the wind as they walked hand in hand through the fields.

Then towards the end the rain began…

Thanks so much to Jessie & Steven for staying outside. You can even see the raindrops in this photo but its one of my favourite from the day.

With many requests from their guests, Jessie took to the stage and gave everyone a wonderful performance.

She dedicated the song to her new Husband.

Before the evening entertainment began everyone enjoyed the bouncy castle and games that were set up.

It was the perfect time for me to capture some natural photographs of the guests.

Time for Jessie & Steven to take to the dance floor for their first dance!

It didn’t take long for everyone else to join in either 🙂

Just look at all those smiles!

I knew as I was taking my last photographs of the day that Jessie & Steven were in for a brilliant night.

It really was a pleasure to capture their day. It was filled with beautiful moments and sentimental details.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of it.

This looks to be such a lovely wedding – I adore the flowers the bride has chosen, they are gorgeous. I agree a wedding with a donkey is also pretty special!
