{Emma & David Hatton} 1 November 2014 {Netherwood Hotel, Grange over Sands}

David & Emma got married on Saturday 1st November at the Netherwood Hotel. I had met up with them both a number of times before their wedding and knew it was going to be a intimate and beautiful day. With so many special and sentimental details it was a pleasure to capture.

David and Emma chose to do a Pre Wedding Shoot in the grounds of their farm a few months before the wedding. I then popped the photographs into a guestbook for their reception. This was the feedback I got – “The Pre Wedding Shoot was a wonderful experience, we had great comments from our guests about the guestbook too. We would really encourage anyone to take advantage of this option if they are planning their wedding day”

As I pulled up to the Netherwood to meet Emma the weather over the estuary was looking promising for the day ahead.

I joined Emma while she was getting ready with her oldest friend and witness Karen in the bridal suite.

It was such a relaxed morning and I captured all the special details as Emma was getting  her hair and make up done.

With a few sneaks out of the window looking out for David’s arrival I could see the genuine happiness and excitment on Emma’s face about the day ahead!

Spotted!!!

I went to capture some photographs of the groom and groomsmen as they arrived.

I joined Emma back in the bridal suite as she was putting the finishing touches to getting ready. The detail on the back of her dress was beautiful!

Once both David & Emma were ready they decided to walk down the aisle together hand in hand. But before that moment they met on the staircase for a moment to themselves. It was magical to capture and such a lovely idea!

I love being able to capture special moments during the ceremony. David and Emma were full of smiles as they said their vows and exchanged rings.

You can’t beat capturing these natural moments as a Bride and Groom officially become Mr & Mrs

With an important opportunity to get outside while the weather was fine we took some family and group photographs in the grounds of the Netherwood.

After finishing the formal photographs inside we braved it back outside to capture some of David & Emma together.

Just before the guests were invited in for the wedding breakfast I took the opportunity to take some photographs of the room and little details.

Emma & David’s cake summed them up perfectly!

As all their guests congratulated the new Mr & Mrs Hatton it was time to begin the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches.

The speeches are one of my favouties moments of the day to photograph. Capturing these photos will remind you of a joke or story that was told for many years to come I’m sure.

As we made our way back into the main hall to begin the evening entertainment we started with the first dance!

Just as their song was coming to an end, David surprised everyone with a very impressive lift!

With an evening speech from David and his Usher Thomas it brought all the guests together again and  everyone was ready to start the night celebrating.

I enjoy every wedding I capture but they are all different and have unique parts. I loved the way David & Emma made their day special to them and all their guests and it truly was a pleasure to capture it for them both.

I hope you enjoy looking through your photographs and album for many years to come and they bring back all the happy memories from your special day.

Thank you also for trusting me and booking the Pre Wedding Shoot, it was a brilliant evening!
