{Mr & Mrs Myers} 6 September 2014 {St Mary Magdalene Church Broughton & The Netherwood Hotel, Grange}

Well… where do I start with Rebecca & Jack’s Wedding!? It was beautiful, colourful, musical and filled with happiness. That’s my summary!

We started the wedding journey back in 2013 when they originally booked. Then when spring had sprung in 2014 we met up for a Pre Wedding Shoot in the Bluebell woods to create their guestbook.

The year passed so quickly and on the morning of their wedding day I met with Rebecca at her family home with her bridesmaids while they got ready. Everything was planned to perfection and it was lovely to capture all the special details.

With music being such an important part of Becca’s life and family, it was important for it to show in the photographs too!

As Rebecca had her hair done, the girls did their make up in the background to form this great photo!

As the hustle and bustle began it was lovely to capture the happiness and excitement on everyone’s faces.

Rebecca’s hair was amazing. So unique and detailed, it suited her perfectly!

Of course the morning wouldn’t be complete without a group hug and champagne!

The time arrived for Becca to put on her handmade wedding dress. I was so excited to see the finish product after hearing all about it in our meetings before the wedding.

With the help of her Mum and Sister, Rebecca stood ready to walk down the stairs and see her Father.

Ok, I may be biased but Broughton Church is one of my favourites! I joined Jack and his Ushers as they greeted guests.

The girls shortly followed. The colours of the dresses and flowers were stunning.

Making sure she wasn’t late, Rebecca arrived with her Dad by her side ready to walk down the aisle.

Feeling nervous Jack?

I LOVE this photo! As Rebecca arrives at the top of the aisle to meet her Husband to be, proud father by her side, Jack’s reaction is just brilliant!

The ceremony was filled with love, laughter and music!

Just look at the smiles on their faces as they walked back down the aisle as Mr & Mrs Myers!

It was hugs, congratulations and smiles all round as their guests welcomed them out of church.

We made use of the church gardens… and walls for this group photograph!

And with every formal shot there has to  be a natural fun one to follow….

Jack had decided that he was going to drive him and Becca to their Reception. The look of excitement on his face when he got in the car was priceless!

As we arrived at The Netherwood we took a few family photographs while everyone enjoyed welcome drinks and canapés .

With the soft,  golden Autumn light and beautiful flowers the colours looked stunning for Rebecca & Jack’s photographs.

Inside, the room had been decorated with lots of handmade bunting. With a tea theme, the teapots filled with flowers made brilliant centrepieces.

As guests congratulated the new Mr & Mrs Myers  it made a perfect opportunity for me to capture some natural photographs. Everyone had a smile on their face!

The love and happiness really did shine through!

Once everyone was seated it was time to sit back and get ready for the speeches!

It was beautiful to listen to Rebecca’s Dad, both Rebecca and Jack and Jack’s Best Man speak. There were many tears and lots of laughter.

It was lovely to look around the room and see the love and happiness in the guests as well as the top table!

With the sun slowly disappearing it was the perfect opportunity to take some photographs of the new Mr & Mrs Myers!

The Netherwood has amazing gardens and grounds but it was important for me to find that perfect spot with the golden light!

As the evening guests arrived they were in for a treat as the MADS put on a brilliant show!

Time for the first dance and I’m not too sure how keen Jack was…..!

We managed to get him up dancing once the Ceilidh began!

As I left Rebecca and Jack and all their guests dancing the night away I took one last photo of their venue all lit up!

It was a pleasure to be part of Rebecca & Jack’s Wedding. I had such a great day and when I look back through their photographs the one thing that stands out for me is the genuine love and happiness they share both together and with everyone that shared their day with them.

Thank you!
