{Mr & Mrs Brown} 29 August 2014 {The Grange Hotel, Grange Over Sands}

It’s not often I don’t meet a Bride and Groom before their wedding, but as Susan-Amy & Phil didn’t live close by and with our regular updates and chats I first met and joined them on the morning of their wedding at the Grange Hotel. I was due to begin taking photographs from the ceremony but I couldn’t resist popping up to see Sue getting ready with all her girls.

Susan-Amy’s dress was amazing and she looked beautiful as she put it on with the help of one of her bridesmaids and Mum.

As she met her Dad on the stairs it was lovely to capture everyone’s reaction!

Waiting patiently in the ceremony room, Phil sat waiting to see his wife to be! After watching many episodes of don’t tell the bride with Sue he wasn’t too sure what her dress would be like!

The ceremony room at the Grange Hotel is perfect, the natural light streams through the large bay windows at the end of the aisle.

I loved capturing Sue and her Dad walking hand in hand down the aisle to meet Phil.

The reactions and emotion are so exciting to capture!

Look at the smiles on their faces as the registrar was about to confirm them Husband and Wife!

While the rain held off we quickly made our way down to Grange for some photographs at the railway station and in the park. I think Phil especially enjoyed the drive in the Porsche!

Once we were back at the Hotel we got everyone together for some family & group photographs in the grounds.

Susan-Amy and Phil had organised for a ice cream cart for all their guests! It was a brilliant idea and I’m sure lot’s went back for seconds!

Maybe even including the groom himself!

You don’t want to be losing that Sue!

The dining room looked stunning, filled with vintage flowers, neutral colours and lots of special details.

As a summer rain shower brought everyone inside I managed to capture some natural photographs of guests before they sat down to eat.

Everywhere I looked people were laughing and enjoying the day!

Time for the speeches! Sue’s Dad, Phil and his two best men took to the stage!

Complete with slideshow, everyone was entertained!

I loved being apart of Mr & Mrs Brown’s Wedding day. I was made to feel welcome as soon as I arrived and it was great to capture the fun, intimate, and happy day that everyone shared. I hope you will be able to look back at your photographs for many years to come and they bring back lots of happy memories for you both.
