{Caroline & Sam Derbyshire} 16 August 2014 {Crosscrake Church & Farm}

Caroline & Sam had the most stunning setting for their country wedding! There were so many little details that completed the day and the love on both of their faces shone! It was a pleasure to capture and now share a few with you all today.

I met with Caroline & her bridesmaids at her parents house in Crosscrake. The morning was in full swing with hair, makeup and making up bouquets!

The flowers girls were all ready to go and looked lovely in their outfits!

We made our way up to Caroline’s old bedroom to put her dress on. It was a lovely moment to capture.

I made my way through the village to the church were the boys were waiting patiently and greeting guests.

Arriving in style… here come the girls!

Caroline and her Dad arrived on her Granddad’s old tractor which the groom and his ushers painted especially! It was the perfect mode of transport!

As the sound of the Bridal march filled the church it was time for Caroline & Sam to become Mr & Mrs Derbyshire!

As guests congratulated the happy couple, in the shadows the church lynch gates had been tied and only pennys for the children would open them!

Caroline, Sam, the bridal party and Ratchy (the dog) all went down to the ford for photographs. It was a beautiful setting and we got some great photographs on the bridge!

I love this photo below, It’s one of my favourites from Caroline & Sam’s day! It was great having the opportunity to take their photographs down at the ford. Knowing it was such a special place for them and seeing them look so happy was a highlight of the day!

Ratchy, waiting paitently ready to escort the bride and groom back to their reception!

The bridesmaids arrived in style and took the more direct route over the wall!

Emma from One Lump Or Two did a fantastic job styling the marquee reception! All the vintage crockery and decorations looked amazing.

As the guests arrived I managed to capture some natural photos of everyone enjoying themselves. It wasn’t long before the space hoppers were out!

We got everyone out for a large group photo before taking some family and friends photos too.

Time for afternoon tea before the all important speeches!

What a great idea… his and her’s cakes! They looked amazing.

I love these two photographs above, as the girls threw the bouquet it wasn’t long before the children had hold of the flowers and were chasing each other around the field!

As I left, the boys were enjoying a cigar outside the marquee while Caroline and the girls were going to have a welly wanging competition!

Their day was filled with lovely details, sentiment and fun!

I hope that you look back on your photographs and are able to re-live each moment. Best wishes for the future as Mr & Mrs Derbyshire!
