{Mr & Mrs Jackson} 7 June 2014 {Woodland Church & Grubbin’s Point, Graythwaite}

Well… where do I start with Jess & Brett’s Wedding?! As the handmade sign post suggested it was an awesome wedding!

I met Jess and her bridesmaids getting ready at her Mum’s house on the morning of the 7th June. The forecast was for heavy rain… and it wasn’t wrong. As the rain bounced down on the conservatory roof everyone ignored it and enjoyed the morning having their hair and make up done while drinking champagne!

I then met the boys at Woodland church. They welcomed guests, held up umbrellas and waited paitently for the arrival of Jess and her girls!

I LOVE capturing the bride walking down the aisle with her father and the look on the groom’s face! Jess & Brett’s ceremony wasn’t short of laughter, tears and a big cheer once they were officially married!

Jess & Brett had their reception at Grubbin’s point. Even in the persistent rain it was a beautiful setting. Jess had organised for two donkeys to meet them at their reception, they were so cute and a perfect addition!

The maquee was a pinterest dream! So much thought and detail had gone into the planning and styling. It looked amazing! With the rain still pouring we managed to take some group photos on the hay bails at the end of the marquee which made a great setting.

Once the meal and speeches had finished the rain began to stop and blue sky was on the horizon. Within half an hour the sun was shining down and we took some photographs in the soft evening light. I was so excited for Jess & Brett as I know how much the location and photographs meant to them.

With the sun shining the groomsmen couldn’t resist a quick dip in the lake! As the other guests stood back and watched them everyone had their cameras out taking photographs of the beautiful setting. It really was magical! You couldn’t have wished for a better evening.

With Ulpha 590 ready to start the night, Jess & Brett took to the dance floor for their first dance… complete with lifts!

With an emotional dance with her dad, everyone then joined them on the dance floor to dance the night away!

I really could have stayed all night and taken endless photos!

Here is a collection from their day, which I hope sums up how fun, relaxed and beautiful it was!
