Dianne & Siraaz got married on Saturday 7th September at Broadoaks Country Club near Windermere.
With the hotel booked out all weekend for the wedding celebrations I joined them for a BBQ on the Friday evening. Unfortunately due to the weather this turned into an indoor BBQ but it didn’t dampen anyone spirits!
The lighting in the hotel was beautiful and as everyone gathered before the meal I captured the essence of the evening.
With the sun starting to filter through the rain clouds I met with Dianne and her bridesmaids the next morning. Everyone was very relaxed and enjoying their morning having hair and make up done.
I think Dianne was one of the most relaxed brides I have photographed. It was such a lovely atmosphere in the room while everyone was making the final preparations.
I love these natural photographs as Dianne’s bridesmaids helped her into her dress.
With everybody ready it was time to make their way over to the ceremony room, hand in hand with a very special family member to give Dianne away!
One happy groom, Siraaz waiting patiently!
Officially Mr & Mrs Patel!
After the intimate ceremony, Dianne & Siraaz walked back down the aisle as Husband and Wife.
We quickly took some photographs outside the hotel while the rain had stopped.
As we quickly made our way back to the entrance of the hotel the rain started to poor down. All of the guests welcomed back the happy couple with confetti! These are some of my favourite photos of the day!
While the rain came down we took some family group photographs inside of the hotel.
After one attempt at getting everyone outside we eventually managed to get a whole group photograph between the showers!
With lots of emotion, laughter and tears came the speeches! Here is a collage of some of my favourites!
There were also some extra special guests who couldn’t be missed! With a dog friendly venue all the four legged guests were very welcome and enjoyed playing in the grounds!
Dianne & Siraaz had some brilliant entertainment to start there evening! It got everyone up dancing which was great to get lots of actions shots!
I loved being part of Dianne & Siraaz’s Wedding Day. From the Friday evening BBQ to leaving on Saturday night the atmosphere was fun, informal, relaxed and happy. I hope that my photographs reflect this and they leave lasting memorys for Dianne & Siraaz and all their guests for many years to come.
Thanks again for allowing me to share your special day!
