{Claire & Ben Galloway} The Swan Hotel, Newby Bridge {16 November 2012}

With The Swan being one of my favourite Wedding Venues to photograph I was really chuffed when Claire and Ben contacted me about their wedding photography.

When I met up with them both at the venue a few months before their wedding we talked through the details of their day along with how great the décor and grounds were.

Claire & Ben’s main priority for their day was to have fun, be happy and to relax and enjoy the day. I made sure this happened by capturing a number of natural photographs to reflect the true memories they hold from their special day.

I joined Claire and her girls in the afternoon while they were getting ready to capture some photographs of the build up and bridal preparations.

Claire knew her hairdresser and make up artist very well so the atmosphere was amazing!

While the girls were making some final preparations, Ben and his Best Man welcome everyone into the ceremony room.

It certainly wasn’t hard to capture everyone’s happy and smiley faces!

As Claire walks down the isle with her Father by her side she met Ben with a big smile on his face!

It’s official – now Mr & Mrs Galloway!

After welcome drinks and congratulations it was time to brave the November weather for a group photograph.

I then took Claire and Ben onto the bridge over looking the river for some couples photographs before re-joining their guests inside.

It’s easy to forget all the little details sometimes but Claire had spent a lot of time planning and making her reception unique and beautiful.

Claire had an vintage afternoon tea theme with amazing flowers, a cheesecake, sandwiches, cream teas and much more!

After some funny and emotional speeches it was time to tuck in!

I just love this photograph of Claire & Ben’s Nephew below. He was just sat in a quiet corner taking everything in!

It looks like someone beat Claire and Ben to the dance floor!

As I was leaving the outside of the venue looked amazing so we managed to capture a quick photograph under the fairy lit trees.

As I was leaving Claire & Ben both thanked me for allowing them to enjoy their day, not be away from their guests too long and  for having a relaxed and natural style. To me this was easy and came naturally but it was very important to them and I was so pleased I was able to do photograph their special day.

I still love looking at these photos Jenna! You did an amazing job and were great to have around on the day. You were so laid back and informal, without all the usual posed for puctures that I kept forgetting you were there! It was just what we wanted and so relaxed. Thank you so much. Xxx
