// Caroline & Steven, Muncaster Castle Wedding // 30 June 2012

When I met up with Steven & Caroline at Muncaster Castle a few months before their wedding we enjoyed a leasurley stroll around the grounds choosing places for photos and discussing their special day. Looking back on those conversations I can safely say their day was filled with the happiness, fun and relaxed approach that they spoke about.

On the morning of the wedding I met up with Caroline who was getting ready in the accommodation at the Castle. Her hair was nearly finished and just the final touches of make up to complete.

Steven and Caroline’s daughter, Acer ,was also watching the beautiful bride getting ready as well as having some important cuddles!

With Steven getting ready just across the courtyard, Caz couldn’t resist a few sneek peeks out the window! 🙂

As the final touches were being made, time was pushing on and it was nearly time to become Mrs Proctor.

Doesn’t she look amazing!

It was a quick dash down to the Castle were Steven was waiting paitently in the Old Libarary

With a few moments to spare I managed to capture these photographs of Caroline and her Dad and the last few moments as Miss Hewitt.

Steven waited patiently for his Wife to be…..

with feelings of both happiness and nervousness!

After what probably felt like a long wait – here came the bride!

And the smile of Steven’s face stayed there all day long!

After all the vows were said and the exchanging of rings it was official, Steven & Caroline were now Husband and Wife!

After everyone had congratulated the happy couple, it was time for a full group photograph.

As for all those people who think the group photos need to be formal with fake smiles, check out this photograph I took while capturing a family portrait below!

Here is their family portrait in front of the Castle.

After all the family photographs it was time to take Steven & Caroline away for some couple shots. Here are a selection which were all taken in the grounds.

I love this natural one, both never without a smile all day!

I couldn’t resist including this photo of Acer as she was watching and taking everything in during the day.

It was then time for the speeches, and Caroline and Steven didn’t let me down. I managed to capture some great photographs of them both which reflected the true emotions of the day.

After everyone had eaten it was time for some fun in the gardens…..and not just for the kids!

As the evening was drawing in, it was time to make our way up to the Old Laundry were the night doo was to be held. Steven and Caroline enjoyed dancing to a live band who was going to be playing throughout the evening.

I have ended with this photograph of Steven kissing Caroline at the end of their first dance. You can really see the love and happiness they both share – long may it last and Congratulations again to the New Mr & Mrs Proctor!
