{Nicola & Will Forrester} 12 May 2012, Thwaites

From first meeting with Nicola I knew that she had big plans for her Wedding and that she was going to be spending a lot of time being creative and making things herself. To be fair, she had been waiting and imagining her day for a while….

I am going to start their Wedding blog by including this photograph of Nic’s bouquet which she made herself, isn’t it beautiful.

Nicola was getting ready at her Mum’s house in Millom on the morning on the Wedding. Doing her hair and make up herself it was so relaxed. Once everyone was nearly ready we manage to grab a few photographs before leaving for the church.

This one of Will’s Niece’s and Nephew is so sweet, they were good as gold all day and couldn’t wait to see their Uncle Will at the Church!

As the girl’s were making the finishing touches I went to get a few photo’s of Will before the church.

As the Church began to fill with guests, and nothing to do but wait for his beautiful bride, Will was starting to feel the nerves! He didn’t know at this point that Nicola had turned around….. to pick up her forgotton bouquet!

She was here….. and she looked amazing!

I love being able to capture that first look when the Bride and Groom see each other at the alter. These smiles didn’t disappear all day!

Everyone watched as Nicola & Will said their vows and became Husband and Wife

It was official – now Mr & Mrs Forrester!

Nicola & Will left in style to their Wedding Reception up at Bank House Farm.

Before all the guests arrived we managed to get some couple portraits with the wonderful view of the estuary in the background. Nicola & Will were so lucky with the weather, the few days before their wedding there had been high winds and heavy rain.

After the couples portrait’s we captured a few family shots before sitting down to a Hog Roast and getting ready for the speeches.

Inside the marquee looked amazing and each table had been decorated perfectly.

There was even the couples own beer on tap!

As the speeches began with Nicola’s Dad I started snapping away to get some natural shots, however I couldn’t help but notice a little assistant who also wanted to get a photo of the Bride and Groom…… 🙂

How cute!

It was then onto Will for his speech….

Sam, Will’s best man decided to bring up a few old stories during his speech, which were sure to make a few people laugh or blush!

After the entertaining speeches it was time to push the tables back ready for the first dance as Husband and Wife….
It wasn’t long until everyone else got into the swing of things and up onto the dance floor!
When Nicola and Will asked me to do their wedding photography I instantly said yes, I then found out I would be on holiday on their wedding date. I decided that I was going to come home a day early as I really didn’t want to miss out on their special day. I am so glad I made that decision, throughout the day I was made to feel so welcome and I truly believe  that their wedding photographs show just how much both them and their guests enjoyed their day too.
Congratulations again and enjoy married life together.

What amazing photos of the special day. Couldn’t have hoped for better setting and weather for such beautiful pictures.
