[Louise & Colin’s Country Wedding] 7 April 2012

I had been looking forward to sharing and blogging Louise & Colin’s wedding since I first met with Louise and she described their wedding plans last year!  We had so much fun doing their Pre Wedding Shoot back in September and had to plan it around them both being back over in the UK as Colin works in the Army and they both live together in Germany. So once we had a date in the diary we just needed to pray for sunshine!

Here are a couple of their photographs from the sunny Sunday morning Shoot in September….

As part of Louise & Colin’s package I created a wedding guestbook for their recpetion with their Pre Wedding Shoot photos!

And so…. 7 months later their special day had arrived. Louise was getting ready with her family and bridesmaids while Colin was down the road getting ready with the lads. On my way up to the farm I captured these few photographs to show off their wedding theme!

Louise’s dress hang beautifully in the window of her bedroom…

With all the preparations nearly complete, didn’t the bride look amazing!

Once Louise was ready and getting into her dress her Dad snook into the room to see his daughter, this smile didn’t dissapear all day!

As the final touches took place it was soon time for Louise Johnson to become Mrs Mackenzie.

This has to be THE best transport to the church I have seen!

Making their vows and becoming Mr & Mrs!

It’s official!

As Louise & Colin walked out of the church as the new Mr & Mrs Mackenzie you couldn’t take the smiles off their faces!

Look at that smile!

It was off to the Wedding Reception in style!

We stopped off on route to get some family and couple portraits. We were kindly allowed to take them in a local garden which provided the perfect setting.

As we arrived at the Wedding Reception, welcome drinks were served and everyone enjoyed the sun before sitting down to a hog roast!

As I always mention the speeches are one of my favourite parts of the day to photograph. Louise & Colin’s wedding certainly wasn’t an exception! Louise’s Dad, Colin and the Best Man all made brilliant speeches and everyone in the room was laughing!  I managed to capture this moment with Louise and her Dad just after he had made his speech.

To kick start the Evening Reception in style, Louise had secretly organised fireworks! This was a complete surprise to everyone and they looked so impressive!

Louise & Colin’s wedding was one of those days that I would love to photograph all over again, not for any negative reason, purely because it was such a lovely and happy day and it was so easy to capture everyone’s emotions and all those special moments.

I wish you lots of happiness as you start your life as Mr & Mrs Mackenzie together. (Although from talking to Louise, I think Col has only been home the odd weekend so far….)!

Thank you again for letting me capture your special day!
